Occupational Therapy
Our occupational therapists work with children, adolescents and adults to develop the skills, confidence and independence needed to participate in everyday activities at home, school, work and in the community.
Occupational therapy can support people who experience difficulties with fine and gross motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, attention, self-regulation and daily living skills. Our occupational therapists work collaboratively with each client and their support network to identify individual needs, set meaningful goals and develop practical strategies to improve participation and independence in everyday life.
Our occupational therapy services can assist with:
Strength, endurance and physical capacity
Balance, coordination and gross motor skills
Fine motor skills and hand function
Time management and organisational skills
Handwriting and school participation
Sensory processing and sensory integration
Self-regulation and emotional regulation
Behaviour management and coping strategies
Attention, concentration and following directions
Problem-solving and executive functioning skills
Independence with everyday activities and self-care
Participation in home, school, work and community activities
Our occupational therapists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and provide personalised assessment, therapy and practical strategies based on each client’s individual needs and goals.
Whether support is needed for developmental skills, school participation, daily living, sensory processing, emotional regulation or independence, our occupational therapists can help clients build practical skills and participate more confidently in everyday life.
