At Enunciate Therapy we understand that the cost of a speech pathologist, occupational therapist or art therapist can become costly over time. The following are funding options to assist your family financially:
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a newer way of providing support for Australians with disability, their families and carers. The NDIS will provide all Australians under the age of 65 who have a permanent and significant disability with the reasonable supports they need. The NDIS supports people with disability to build skills and capability so they can participate in the community and employment.
Enunciate Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapist, Art Therapists and Allied Health Assistants are registered NDIS Service Providers and can cater to self-managed, case-managed and agency managed NDIS funded clients. For further information visit www.ndis.gov.au or contact Enunciate Therapy directly.
We invite our current NDIS participants to provide us with valuable feedback to improve our services. Please kindly fill out the survey via the link www.surveymonkey.com
Enunciate Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists are medicare providers which allows our clients to access the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) scheme. To determine eligibility a referral form must be completed by a GP. This allows 5 sessions per calendar year for Allied Health Services, such as speech pathology.
Rebate: $54.60 per session.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) people who have had a health assessment may be eligible for an additional 5 sessions per calendar year in addition to the 5 sessions under the EPC. A referral form for follow-up allied health services for clients of ATSI descent must be completed by a GP who has performed a health check.
Enunciate Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists are recognised by majority of private health providers. Please consult you private health provider to determine eligibility and rebate amounts.
Please note sessions with our Art Therapists or Allied Health Assistants are unable to be rebated under private health.
